The sample is free, and it is the real file with a watermark across it. The clean file is $9, $15, or $25 — paid once, no account, no subscription. Which of the three you pay is decided by what you build, not by a plan you pick up front.

How much does it cost to put a letterhead in Word?

Three prices, one payment, nothing that renews. $9 covers one design on one paper size. $15 adds your own design for pages 2 and up. $25 covers up to three paper sizes, each built from its own artwork.

What you are buildingPrice
One design, one paper size$9
The same, plus your own design for pages 2 and up$15
Two or three paper sizes, each from its own artwork$25

Letterhead on page 1 only, with clean pages after it, is included in the $9. It is the single most common thing people come here for, and it has never sat behind a higher price — first-page-only letterhead is a choice you make while building, not an upgrade.

Why is there no plan to choose?

Because the price follows the order instead of the other way round. Add your own design for pages 2 and up and the total becomes $15. Add a second paper size and it becomes $25. Take either back out and it drops again. You never declare a tier; you build the file you need and the number keeps up.

Picking a plan first means guessing before you know what the file has to do, and guessing costs you either way — pay for a tier you do not use, or find the thing you actually need sitting behind a wall. Building first removes the guess.

  1. Upload your letterhead — PDF, PNG, or JPG.
  2. Choose what pages 2 and up show, and add any other paper sizes the office prints on.
  3. Watch the price settle, take the free sample, and buy only if it is right.

What does the free sample actually get you?

The real document, watermarked. Same artwork in the same header at the same resolution, the same margins, the same locked-down behaviour while you type. Open it in Word, write a letter in it, print a page. Nothing is stubbed out or held back except the watermark itself.

No account, no card, no email address. The sample is built in your browser and never leaves it, so if the file does not behave the way your office needs, you have spent nothing and handed over nothing.

Is it charged per person, per year, or per file?

Per letterhead design, once. What arrives is an ordinary .docx you own outright — put it on the shared drive and the whole office works from the same file. There is no seat count, no renewal date, and nothing to cancel.

A genuinely different letterhead is a separate build: a second brand, or a second office with its own address block. Different paper sizes of the same design are not — those belong in one order as a set, which is why two sizes and three cost the same $25.

Common questions

Is there a subscription or a renewal?
No. It is one payment for one letterhead design, and the .docx is yours from then on. There is no account to create, no seat count, no renewal date, and nothing that stops working if you never come back.
Do two paper sizes cost twice as much as one?
No. Two paper sizes and three cost the same $25, on purpose — an office that prints on Letter and A4 today often needs Legal next year, and charging per size would push people into rebuilding later instead of getting it right once.
What happens when my branding changes?
A new design is a new build at the same price — upload the new artwork and download a new file. Nothing carries over from the old one, because nothing needs to: the $9 file has no account or licence attached to it, it is just a Word document.
Can I see the file before paying anything?
Yes, and you should. The free sample is the finished document with a watermark across it — same artwork, same header, same margins, same locked behaviour. Type in it and print it before you decide.
Which one do most people buy?
The $9 single letterhead, because most offices print on one paper size and want either the full design on every page or a clean page 2 — both of which are included at that price. The other two exist for second-sheet designs and multi-standard offices.
